The Numbers Log: track your body numbers quarterly

Your saved log could not be read

Something in this browser's stored copy of your log is malformed, so it has not been loaded. Nothing has been deleted yet — if the data matters to you, copy it out of your browser's local storage first. Otherwise you can clear it and start again.

The Numbers Log keeps eight to ten body metrics on one card and asks you to re-take them four times a year, so you are reading a trend rather than a single figure. Everything stays in this browser: there is no account, nothing is uploaded, and you can export or delete it all whenever you like.

  • A1C assay tolerance (NGSP certification)certified assays agree with the reference method within about +/- 0.5 percentage points. Verified against NGSP - certification criteria for A1C methods (This is the certification limit for the method, not a confidence interval for one person's result.)

Everything you type here is computed in your browser. Nothing you enter is stored on a server, sent anywhere, or shared — there is no account and no health data to leak.

No ads on this page, by design.

Frequently asked questions

Where is my data stored?
In this browser only, using local storage. Nothing is sent to a server, there is no account, and nobody including us can see it. Clearing your browser data or switching device means starting fresh, which is the trade-off for it never leaving your machine.
Why quarterly rather than daily?
Because most of these numbers cannot meaningfully change faster than that, so daily readings mostly measure noise. A1C reflects two to three months; resting heart rate needs weeks to show a trend. Four times a year is often enough to see change and rare enough to stay honest.
Which numbers does it track?
Resting heart rate, blood pressure, weight and waist if you want them, A1C when you have had one measured, your TDEE and protein estimates, weekly zone-2 minutes, and one number you choose yourself. Ten rows deliberately: a longer list gets abandoned.
Can I take this to an appointment?
That is what the copy-as-text button is for. It produces a plain dated list of your recent figures, labelled as self-measurements and estimates rather than clinical readings, which is the honest framing for a clinician reading it.
Is there a paper version?
Yes, and it needs no email: the printable card on the kit page has the same rows and the same layout, and it is the version printed in the back of the Body Numbers book.
Can I bring in readings from a watch, a scale or a spreadsheet?
Yes - export a CSV and import it here. It reads comma, semicolon and tab files, converts pounds, inches and mmol/mol, and shows you exactly which columns it read, which it ignored and which rows it skipped before anything is saved. Where dates could be read either way round it asks rather than guessing. The file is parsed in your browser and never uploaded.

No body metric means much on its own. Here is what this one feeds into.
