GMI (glucose management indicator)
GMI estimates an A1C-like percentage from continuous glucose monitoring data. It was named in 2018 specifically to stop CGM-derived figures being called "estimated A1C", because the two commonly differ within the same person and that difference is informative rather than an error.
Example
GMI (%) = 3.31 + 0.02392 × mean glucose in mg/dL. A CGM mean of 150 mg/dL gives a GMI of about 6.9%.
