The NHS publishes this figure for week 14, about the size of a kiwi fruit. It is an average from patient guidance rather than a measurement of any particular pregnancy, and the measurement basis changes at week 20 - see the note below the dates.

8.5 cm from head to bottom, kiwi-sized, and the head is rounding out into something better proportioned to the body than the top-heavy shape of a month ago. The kidneys are working: amniotic fluid is swallowed and passed back out as urine, which is a small closed loop that will run for the rest of the pregnancy. There is kicking, though it is happening in a space far too large for anything to register from the outside yet. Colostrum sometimes makes its first appearance around now as a yellowish mark inside a bra, months before there is any baby to feed. Round ligament pain arrives in the same period - a sharp catch low on one side when standing up or turning over, caused by tissue stretching to accommodate a uterus that has outgrown the pelvis. It is unpleasant, it is common, and it is not a sign of trouble in itself. There is a lull here in the appointment calendar between the dating scan and the next contact, and it can feel like being handed back your life. Take it. The second half is busier.

What the NHS describes this week

The NHS puts the foetus at around 8.5 cm from head to bottom this week.
The head is becoming rounder and better proportioned to the body.
The kidneys are working: amniotic fluid is swallowed and passed back out as urine.

What happens around now

Round ligament pain on the sides of the bump is common from about now as the uterus grows. Colostrum sometimes appears this early. Neither is unusual, and the NHS lists both among the ordinary changes of this stage.

On the measurement. The NHS publishes a length for each week from 4 to 40. Up to week 19 it is measured head to bottom (crown to rump, the measurement a scan takes while the legs are curled). From week 20 it is measured head to heel, which is why the figure jumps from 15.3 cm at week 19 to 25.6 cm at week 20 - the baby did not grow 10 cm in a week, the ruler changed.
